WHAT? Chicken Paprikash, Bryndzove Halusky, Sauteed Spinach w/Bacon
WHY? Kris had her eyes on this recipe for a whole, and a fall Sunday Funday was an ideal time to try it out.
HOW? Our cookbooks at home.
WOULD WE MAKE THIS AGAIN? Yes.
FAVORITE ASPECT? The chicken sent a nice aroma through the house as it cooked, and the taste matched the aroma.
COOKING NOTES? For the chicken paprikash, Kris used thighs and legs made with two types of paprika, onions, garlic, tomatoes and sour cream Next for the bryndzove halusky, this is a dish of grated potatoes and flour, boiled into dumplings of sorts. Then onions, feta and bacon were mixed in. The smell was slightly weird to me, but we both liked the taste. Lastly the sautéed spinach was mixed with some bacon, and was a nice greens side.
